"The Magnific Anatidae Family" is a photographic work that immortalizes these aquatic birds relaxing by the lake's shore at houres sunset. The photograph shows a flock of ducks of different breeds swimming in a body of water. The two wild ducks on the left and in the foreground of the image are mallards (Anas platyrhynchos), the most common in Europe. The smaller duck, with brown camouflage plumage, is a female, while the one behind her is a male. The other two ducks, with white plumage and orange bills, belong to the American domestic breed of Peking duck, originally from China and imported to Europe and North America in the second half of the 19th century. Both breeds are webbed waterfowl belonging to the Anatidae family. The Ducks, especially domestic ones, are raised for a variety of purposes, including meat, eggs, and as pets. They are omnivorous and feed on insects, grasses, seeds, and mollusks. Furthermore, they are very sociable animals and are common to encounter them in nois...
