"The Swan's call" is a Fine Art Photography work that immortalizes this aquatic bird by calling its friends to the lake's shore at sunset. The image shows a mute swan (Cygnus olor), a large aquatic bird known for its white plumage and long neck.
The Cygnus olor is native to Eurasia, but has also been introduced to North America, Oceania, and southern Africa.
Adults have white feathers, black legs, and an orange bill with a fleshy black protuberance at the base.
It is a large bird, with a wingspan that can exceed 2 meters.
These birds are monogamous and form stable pairs that often last a lifetime.
They are commonly found in wetlands rich in vegetation, such as swamps, lakes, quiet river bays, and canals.
